Remember this event? Paul endeavoring to go for God after trying several doors that were closed God opened a door. In this vision Paul saw a man asking the for help in Macedonia. This cry finds many forms for God and church leaders. God asks Isaiah who will go for us. Jesus instructs people to pray that God will send laborers in to his field to work. The demands an answer, a response from the whole man. Too often the answer is not Samuel's who simply showed up available for work and said "here am I", but it is the Adamic answer, "I heard your voice, and hid because I was afraid." Another Adamic response, "It's your fault God, or it's their fault." Isnt it amazing that it is rarely our fault? If it is not the adamic responses it might be the mosaic excuses that are heard. Moses said, "I am not smart enough, or I am unable to do it." God's response eternally is radical and clear. He alone enables, gifts, supplies, and forgives. He opens doors and shuts them. So the question remains, who will go for us, who will come over and help us? the prayers for workers have been sent heavenward, the call of God has been sent out. Will you answer like Isaiah, Samuel and Paul?
